Black Beans and Rice
Classic black beans and rice. I got this recipe from the Bush’s beans website.

2 Cups cooked rice1 Can black beans, juices drained and reserved1 Tbsp Olive Oil¾ Cup finely chopped onion½ tsp. thyme1 tsp. garlic salt3 Tbsp cider vinegar½ tsp. hot pepper sauce(Optional) ½ Cup finely chopped green pepper(Optional) ½ Cup diced tomatoes drained

In a large skillet, heat olive oil; cook onion and green pepper until crisp tender.Stir in tomatoes, beans, thyme and garlic salt; cook 3 minutes.Add vinegar, pepper sauce, and reserved juices. Continue to cook for 5 minutes.Serve over rice.
